The Archaeological Way Access Volunteers is a group of local people who support the management of the new Archaeological Way multi-user trail.

The group tackles anything from installing new benches, way-marking and access furniture, and helps keep the trail tidy by cutting back vegetation and litter picking.

The volunteers are currently supported by Bolsover Countryside Partnership, Groundwork Creswell, Langwith Parish Council and Shirebrook Town Council, but more partners are needed to help keep this important initiative going in the future.

If you are interested in supporting the Archaeological Way Access Volunteers, please contact Andy Heath at the Bolsover Countryside Partnership on (01629) 537289.
